How do I join Youth Matter!?
Joining 'Youth Matter!' could not be easier. Providing that your organisation agrees to the conditions of membership, simply print out a membership form and send it to us through the post.
Conditions of Membership
Membership of 'Youth Matter!' is open to any group which:
- Accepts the core values and principles of youth work that is:
Youth work is a purposeful and planned process that engages young people in achieving greater control of their lives.
It is a process based on a voluntary partnership between young people and those working with them.
Youth work programmes develop young people’s experience, skills, knowledge and attitudes; these enabling young people to play a full part in the lives of their communities. - Agrees with the 'Youth Matter!' mission statement
- Agrees to make a commitment to working towards and achieving Validated Quality Standards as agreed by Youth Matter!, within twelve months of becoming a member
- Agrees to pay an annual membership fee as agreed by the membership from time to time
- Agrees to a review of their validation status every three years
