Referring to social work services in Warrington
From 16 May 2011 there will be separate referral routes for children and young people’s social work and adult social care. The new system will enable you to speak to specialist advisers, ensuring that people who need social work services can access the support and advice they need.
Referring a person aged 18 and over

Out of hours service
If you require an urgent social work service for adults or children outside of our normal office hours you can contact the ‘out of hours’ service on 01925 444400.
It runs Monday - Friday from 5.00pm to 8.30am and 24 hours a day at the weekends and on public holidays.

Home-Start Warrington - elite charity for Spire Healthcare English Half Marathon for second year running!
Home-Start Warrington is a Family Support Charity which offers friendship and practical support to families in Warrington, with young children. We recruit and train volunteers, who are parents themselves, to offer this support, visiting their family for 3 hours each week. Last year, we supported 91 families with 225 children.
We are again one of the elite charities for the Spire Healthcare English Half Marathon, which starts at Victoria Park, Warrington on Sunday 18th September 2011 at 09.00 a.m.
We raised a massive £11,000 last year and would love to exceed this amount this year! We are looking for potential runners and/or sponsors. So, if you are looking to increase your fitness levels – get healthy and are able to fund raise for our charity, we would love to hear from you. We pay your entry fee and register you too!
