Who are Youth Matter!?
Youth Matter!' is a proactive organisation, which works to meet the needs of young people in the Warrington borough by aiding and supporting the work of its member groups.
We believe that Youth work is:
- A purposeful process that helps young people gain greater control of their lives.
- A process based on a voluntary partnership between young people and those working with them.
- A way for young people to gain experience, skills, knowledge and attitudes which help them contribute towards their communities
Youth Matter Committee
The Youth Matter! committee is made up of representatives who all have relevant experience in the voluntary youth sector. We are looking for new board members who can bring proven business and funding acumen to the committee as well as a strong desire to strengthen the work of Youth Matter! and the voluntary youth sector as a whole.
Committee members can expect to meet at least once a month for 2 hours, with meeting time and days arranged around committee members existing commitments.
